8800GTX Problems,

My 8800GTX has been doing some rather strange stuff lately, every time I load a game it instanly fills up the screen with artifacts and then the display turns black. Same when I try to scan for artifacts using Ati tool.

Red squares fill my screen, I have reseated the card and cleaned it with compressed air. Its not overheating because I just turned on my PC abt 5 mins ago and loaded into a game and still did it.

whats the problem?

double check your temps with GPU-z or RivaTuner to make sure it's not over heating

try with stock clocks if you were overclocking

if it still artifacts, your card probably went bad
