Question 7600 GS AGP - 85 degrees celcius

As I mentioned in another thread, I recently bought a 7600GS 256mb ddr2 agp edition for my pc, (Sempron 3000+ 1.5GB ram, 300GB HDD).

I bought this card upgrading from a 9700 pro, and as I mentioned it has made almost no difference to my gaming (a difference yes, but small if any).

I have had the card 2 days now, runs fine just not as much of an improvement as I would have expected.

I checked my Forceware info and noticed the card darts between 75 degree 85 degrees celcius, I have no fan in my case (its a very cheap one), Is 85 degrees too hot, could this be whats causing my disappointment in my new cards performance?

Thanks guys, Will.

I also think it could be due to the powersupply. 12v rail on * 19A .
