I have a Compaq 6510b that i got used back in feb. By the end of march it just decided that to stop showing anything on the screen. Before this "mass failure" it would have periodic "mini-failures" where it would go black when i "woke" it but would be just fine after a restart. I had a friend of mine (who is pretty freaking legit with computers) look at it and he is pretty certain that it is the graphics card (or maybe a driver or something).
From what i see on the interwebs, this isnt totally uncommon. What i CANT find is an actual solution and a price. Any help with those two issues is greatly appreciated. First hand knowledge would be even better!
