4gb SD Card not working on PCI7420 SD reader in a Dell 700m?

Any ideas what to do? I went out and bought a 150x 4gb SD card for my Treo 700p. Works fine in the Treo, but does not work in the built-in SD reader in my 700m (reader is TI model PCI7420). At first it was freezing the computer when I put it in. Then somehow it was accepting the card, assigning it a letter (F), but when I click on it nothing happens. It just tells me to insert a card, as if it isn't seeing it. Any ideas what to do? I looked on Dell's site for an updated driver but of course the "updated" driver is from 2004. I even tried reinstalling that driver but no luck. It's very frustrating. I spent a lot of money on the phone and the card and I would love to be able to integrate it with that SD reader on my laptop. Why is nothing ever easy.... ANY help is MUCH appreciated!
