300gb hard drive

ok so it only reads 30gb and when I go to format it reads 300gb but then in windows xp setup it says it reads 33348 mb or something like close to that its definately 5 digits but I can't seem to get 300gb when I get out of setup!!!

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP BUT ONLY IF YOU CAN!!!

thanx alot for nothing cause I figured out what to do I just had to do this: right click my computer, click manage, double click on storage, double click disk management, and create a new partition with the other 250gb

Nevermind my last post didn't work but it might for someone else.

I called customer service and they said its a software glitch and then I had to run maxblast a sertant way
