250gig Hd -> 100gig???

I'v always had a 250gig HD lol...After i Reinstalled Windows because of Spyware, i only had 100 left...where did 150 gig go? Will i be able to use it even though my comp doesn't recognize it? I download alot of movies and do alot of graphic work, i need that space. Thx in advance

What does the Device Manager say about the HD?

Any errors on it?

I would recommend a quick defrag, even if you reformatted.

Haha... that's kind of a funny problem. First of all look at the physical hard drive itself and make sure that it's really 250gb. Then look at the POST screen and see if it's recognising it as 250gb. Finally, make sure the disc is NTFS.
