Default 1-3 second Freeze, then reboots

Hi guys

I started experiencing a weird problem just last week.. while doing nothing heavy (browsing using firefox, typing a document, etc), the computer suddenly stops for a couple of seconds then reboots..

i've checked the event viewer and nothing is logged in there..

time for some troubleshooting.. would help if you guys can point me in the right direction.. do you tink it's just a software issue? like windows? or could it be hardware at this point with these symptoms?
