Your Advice Plz If Possible

Hello all,

Your opinion plz for the following hardware i desided to purchase in order to upgrade my pc ? The rest i have already, AC,Case,Monitor Graphics Card..



Motherboard : Asus P5Q3 Deluxe WIFI (S775, DDR3, P45)
CPU : Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (s775/2.4GHz)
Memory : Corsair RAM DDR3 2GB KIT 1600C7DHXIN
HDD : Seagate 1TB HDD (32MB Buffer, 7200.11, ST31000340AS)

Are those a good selection for performance on both aplications and gaming ?

If I were you I would go with DDR2 because its twice as cheap and neither is going to give you any noticeable performance over the other and that's what its all about.

Yeh your better off getting DDR2 ram and getting a better processor, eg. Q9550 with the extra cash.

and since you dun need ddr3, a pair reaper ddr2 HPC.

Yep, DDR3 is still too expensive. Get 4gb of Tracers or HPC, and a faster processor (the Q9550 as suggested).
Don't forget the aftermarket cooler. An Xigmatek Rifle S1283 or OCZ Vendetta should do the job fine!
