K so i gues im not getting the X1600pro for the ol LAN rig after all. Im getting a 7800GS for it. Is there really any difference between these cards besides like a 20 dollar difference?

I love eVGA and i love my KO Superclocked right now. Sooo im just wondering why the XFX is 20 bucks more. Is it the name honestly? Cause i dont see any clocks on there.
Another question is should i get a Zalman cooler for it? I was thinking either putting my VF-700 on it or getting a Fatal1ty or VF-900. Would it make a difference if i put my VF-700 on it? (The 7800GS)

Only the price difference. The eVGA is $20 cheaper, is that so surprising?

You can get a new motherboard + 7600GT and have the same performance as a 7800GS btw.

To add on to your question about the cooling - Does adding a VF-700 end up with a dual-slot videocard? I'm pretty sure it does...but I'm not SURE sure.

I need to stick w/ the mobo and processor i got. Yes it does end up being 2 slots but it dosent matter cause i only use one. My question is will it be any better than the stock cooling.
