*update* so yeah I got it installed and stock it gave me a score of 14,533 on 3dmark06 and runs about 1-2 degrees cooler idle but its set on autofan speed which is lingering around only 35%, anyways heres a picture of my new card ( on the bottom ) and the old card on the top ( the newer edition only has 1 power slot and is shorter and the fan seems bigger too )

I like the newer version more.

Looks like it can cool much better, reminds me of the 8800GTS 512. You should go ahead and set the fan control in riva to direct control @ 50%. itll keep the card very cool and quiet, i use the same speed on all my gpu's.
