I RMA'd a year and a half old X1950XT and got a 2900XT in return. It turned out to be DOA (go figure), so it was RMA's and got a 3850 512MB. So a X1950Xt for a 3850... not too shabby. Vern's happy with it.

Btw how did you get the RMA? Did you have to register the original card (x1950XT?) online?

Maybe try that new jumper cable connected to car battery and 8800gt mod. I've been hearing great things about it
