yeah that was with LN2 I think, and you hardly need 724fsb for a q6600 lol...that would be like 6.5ghz

Most X38 boards can't be flashed to their X48 counterparts anyways, plus the only difference is Speed Binned so thats not worth the extra $50+

well...now i'm thinking about getting this board and getting a 4850. getting an x38 would future proof in case i ever wanted to crossfire someday.

If you are planning on using a big air cooler, i suggest you spend the extra money and buy this board instead.

It doesnt have the huge tower chipset cooler that blocks big heatsinks.

You need 724fsb for EVERYTHING! Still, at least you can tell whoever buys it that it is guaranteed to clock high.

Ah good to hear. I ended up going with the x38 because i just couldnt justify the extra 30 bucks for a number.
