Is $170 a good price for an Athlon 64 X2 4200+??

yes, that is an incredibly good price, seeing as they are around 200 on every site

umm... price drops are everywhere... newegg has 4400's for 260 dollars.. 4800 is 350... the pricedrops are everwhere...

well i have been checking newegg and tigerdirect almost daily now, and the only price drops that were as consistent with the hype were the lower models (3800, 4000)

4800 at newegg is 430.... tigerdirect doesnt even have any higher end models

but it seems like all the other sites DO, thanks bcuz i didnt know about those other ones.


whoops... forgot to say i am talkin about the athlon64 x2 dualcore... but u probably knew that already...

BIN on eBay is where I saw it. I figured X2 prices would drop with intel's new competition and AM2 release, but I didnt expect it that much.
