i am soooooooooooooooooo disappointed at how the vf900 cooled my x1950xt. its true that it is extremely quiet but it cools worst than the stock cooler.
Is this for real? Why is everyone recommending this cooler if this is the case? I have a x1950xt in a system I just built. It gets into the 80s when gaming. I was considering buying the vf900 based on suggestions here until I read this post. Any thoughts on this? Did you install it correctly?

That is not true. I have a VF900, and it cooled way better than the stock cooler. Almost 10C+ cooler, than the stock.
