Default x1900xt Stock Heatsink?

The stock heatsink is pretty powerful, But I see reviews saying the vf-900 is great on a x1900xt, I had one on my 7800gt before I sold it and Now I am wondering will it help alot vs the stock one? And if Anyone has put one on there x1900xt or xtx, is the stock HSF hard to take off? Thanks.

I want to know if I overclock it a little bit, would a vf 900 get better temps than the stock one at 5000 rpm?
