Why get a GTS 250 when you can get an HD 4850

So...4890 I can do. Its within budget.
But since these repairs are being paid for by my parents (since I'm down on funds)
And they say I have to wait at least a year or two before I buy a new CPU.
How bad would you say percentage wise the bottleneck would be?
Would it be worth it even to get a 4890 over a 4850?

I was just about to suggest the GTS 250, actually. Would be less expensive, and less of a waste if you can't upgrade your CPU at the same time.

Lol, possibly. Still a good deal though, even without the rebate.

This HD 4850 is cheaper and slightly faster than the GTS 250.

Yeah, forget the GTS 250, it was 70 bucks after rebate before, I guess it was only a weekend deal.

Newegg.com - ECS NGTS250-512MX-F GeForce GTS 250 512MB 256-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Not sure if ECS makes good cards, but this GTS 250 is $100 after mail in rebate, and comes with call of duty world at war. would almost be like paying 60-70 for the card, then buying the game. may be worth a look.

EDIT:
An EVGA card for about the same price and deal
Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-1150-TR GeForce GTS 250 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards
