So...4890 I can do. Its within budget.
But since these repairs are being paid for by my parents (since I'm down on funds)
And they say I have to wait at least a year or two before I buy a new CPU.
How bad would you say percentage wise the bottleneck would be?
Would it be worth it even to get a 4890 over a 4850?
 
Yeah, forget the GTS 250, it was 70 bucks after rebate before, I guess it was only a weekend deal.

Not sure if ECS makes good cards, but this GTS 250 is $100 after mail in rebate, and comes with call of duty world at war. would almost be like paying 60-70 for the card, then buying the game. may be worth a look.
