Would raid cause my cpu to work more?

I set up Raid 0 the other day I've notice on my CPU monitor that it is working more then before. Can/is this caused by the raid 0?

Shouldn't be very much but it depends on the type of RAID (hardware, hardware assisted or software) and your CPU.

+1 to kmote's post, if it is hardware it shouldn't do much of a difference unless you are running an old CPU.
Hardware Assisted will make it work a bit more.
If you go with software RAID then your CPU will work more along with the drives.
