Worth it to Upgrade?

I can upgrade from my 8800GTS 512 to a 9800GTX for no cost to myself. Is there any evidence that they clock higher or generally perform better than the GTS? I don't want to go through the effort if it's not going to have any benefit.

Kind of a stupid question but time is a factor, I'd have to deal with selling the old card and obtaining the new one. Just want to know if it would be worth the time and effort.

they overclock higher, to 2000mhz easily, and if you can get it for free, why not!!
