I love layout! it's excellent. I hope that all mobo manufacturers will use this design for sAM2+ mobos based on nV's HT3 chipsets like 780a:

That sata port is probably to support an E-sata module that comes with the board. So rather than stringing a sata cable across the board, its right there next to where its going to be mounted.

^^^ I would assume that would be for a eSATA. I figure there are some others on the front edge that you can't see in the pic.

whats up with the onboard vga and dvi? intergrated video and Triple SLI?

Maybe the onboard dvi is for the 2nd monitor since they refuse to make SLI work with a **** 2nd monitor.

Also, good to see that they still refuse to use solid caps like every other motherboard made in the last 2 years.

yeah, too bad if you have an afp7 or afp-64 you won't be able to use high profile ram chips like the XMS2 series i have. i ran into that issue w/ my board so i can't have 4gb's. which is totally fine with me.

but it is a sweet board. too bad 3xSLI blows chunks.
