Windows is trying to auto partition my 3TB HDD. How to keep it whole?

Hi!

I installed my first 3tb hdd, but when I go to Disk management, it is trying to cut it up into a 2TB and a 787 GB. How do I keep it whole?

Yep, MBR only accesses up to 2TB of storage.

Ok, but the article says I must first manually delete the partition. How do I manually delete the partition?

Start, Control Panel, Admin Tools, computer management, disk management, right click the drive in question, delete volume, right click, new volume, continue to partition your new drive.
