windows on hd, tranfer to new pc?

I installed windows on my old athlon system, only installed GAIM and the drivers for my wireless card, used it once and then never again. If i put this in my new pc without redoing windows will there be any trouble?

youll have to re-install windows cause it is a new motherboard

whatd you mean? how do you reinstall windows in another computer? format the hdd and install windows as usuall...

yes just put the windows disk in on boot up and re-install it will automaticly reformat the hard drive

i never installed any of the motherboard drivers tho

i built a rig for my friend a couple of months ago, he didnt' buy winXP, he just pulled it from his old rig. without reformatting or anything, we got it to work. when we fired it up (first attempt ) we just had to call windows and get another key. it worked out fine.
