No, I have not done the master/slave settings. When using SATA there are no need to use master/slave settings because the PC can access any SATA drives at any time. I have read this in many articles about SATA devices.
Under the device manager the drive that contains windows is enabled, and the other drive does not have the option to enable/disabel it but is recognized and working properly (Stated by device manager).
Will formatting this drive allow windows to use it??
