Will this work as a home file server?

Last night I pieced together a couple computers from parts and after giving one to the kids I have this one left and want to know if it will make a decent home file server.

Hoping this will work for a Home File Server

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU
Q6600@2.40 GHz
2.41 GHz 3.25 GB Ram
Asus Formula Maximus II Motherboard with Dual 10/100/1000Mbps LAN

Its got a fresh install of Windows XP but have not problem getting rid of the OS, may actually get rid of that HD all together.

My plans are installing 4 2 TB Drives and running them in Raid.

Yeah m8 it is really good for a file server
Just make sure you have plenty of storage and you'll be fine.
And you can put pretty much any OS you want on there, as long as you know how to make shares in it, so other people on your network can access the files.
