Alright, ill get the 4960k than Is there a way to change the original post? Also, the monitor will not be part of the budget. For a monitor I'd prefer one that is at least 20 inches and 1900x1080. Thank you all so much. SO what kind of motherboard should I get?

ASRock Z97 Anniversary LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com

For GPU since you are saving cash not getting an i7 I'd shoot for a 970.

SO what else would I need other than the dvd drive, ram, and monitor? (Obviously a mouse and keyboard but I mean like things other than that) Oh and do I need a wifi card or anything?

RAM

You don't really need anything else. Only need a wifi card if you need to connect to a wireless network. If you'll be hard wire then don't need it.
