Default Will the beast lower in price?

Any ideas when we may see the GTX 280 drop down to the 400's?

I'm planning on upgrading to that from my 8800 g92.

well i'll be...
although, i was looking more at the evga one. Which is now sitting at about $500 flat

but I really don't get why prices vary so much on the same card.. company name? the different clocks they set the card to?

TBH I would wait for the 55nm refab of the GTX 280. It will most likely be cheaper because of better yields (hopefully), and will have more overclocking headroom.

There are 3 evga ones.. from $450 to $500

are you paying an extra $50 for them to set clocks 20mhz higher?

But also EVGA offers lifetime warranty, which makes it a better choice.
