ETASIS is a highly recommended brand actually...up there with the best but usually more expensive.

The Corsair 550VX will be more than enough for that build...the rosewill RP550 is about as low as you could go for a build like that. 35A is a pretty good safe point with just an 8800GT as they use less watts than the other 8800's. However for only 30 more the 5500VX is an amazing PSU

lol i just really wasn't into computers for a while I play guitar. I tried focusing all my spare time on it and so far I've improved alot lol.

Where's b1gapl? I used to talk to him all the time on AIM but he is never on anymore.

Etasis builds server quality PSUs, IE, VERY HIGH.

And at the price AR @ NewEgg, the 750w and 850w PSUs are both great deals.

Hey guys, thanks for all the help.

We are both going to be building new rigs soon and I think they are going to be almost identical. We are also going to be using Q6600's instead of 6700s.

I am thinking about going with this Antec 500w PSU. It has two 12v rails, for a total of 34A.
