Why SLI is never worth it

i think like dual 20" DVI monitors would be as far as i go but still thats pushing the whole "buget" ordeal i'd do that as something later

i'd start off with one 20" DVI and then later on some time just buy another one and run dual screens off of an 8800 Ultra (watercooled mind you lol)

good deal = totally worth it.

my 2 cards score as well as an 8800gts. and i just like the way it looks. lol.
as far as saving money on the non-sli board, if you want the best overclocking am2 mobo, then you need the 590 sli chipset. which (lolz) only comes on a 590 sli mobo.

i think SLI comes to enthusiasts more than just the regular gamer.. its like the nerds world of auto salon.. instead of doing up a car they do up their pc.. especially now they have QUAD gpus in pcs..
