Whick SHould I upgrade

so are you all just totaly against me geting a nice mobo for the p4 2.6 i think is HT, nice RAM, 7800gs, then i could get the extras i want like monitor, nice speakers.

yes i do live in america and i do go to tiger direct quite often

i can keep my dvd drive/cd drive / case (heavy but sturdy), and psu, so then i wont need to upgrade much

i was also thinkin about getting a nice cooler for the cpu and maby being able to overclock to 3.0ghx

There's the list of socket 939 AMD Athlons, just pick one that suits your budget. If your budget allows I'd get at least the 3500, but that's just me. Hope this helps. Also if you get one of these you will need to get a new mobo.

my mom has a 3500 in her new emachines and its a good computer despite all the people that swear its a bad brand

it even has a pci e x16

i wouldnt pick a 3500 when for about 30 bucks more you can get 1mb cache

what gpu do you all recomend

i managed to go on new egg and include a amd 3200, 7600 gt , 250gb hd , asus mobo non sli, 1gb of value ram for 602$

now i will have enough for a nice flate panel monitor and some good speakers what do you think on my setup
