Five beeps = Process Failure = What to do?

Hi, I turned on my pc for the first time. I get five beeps which some site on the Internet said is indicative of a "process failure". What does this mean? Furthermore, I get nothing on the monitor -- just says no signal. The fans run, the RAM LED light up, the front LED light up, but nothing else. Any help? I have an AMD FX-57, a View Sonic monitor, a8n-sli premium, two Geforce 7800. Thanks in advance.

IEEE is a company that provides standards and such for cabline the 1394 standard yes is firewire.

Yeah, and it's fine if you leave the firewire unplugged when you boot it up, it's not required. Mine's not plugged in either.

IEEE also has standards such as IEEE 802.11 which is wireless networking. But yes, 1394 which is Firewire, also known as I-Link is one of them.

Firewire is usally used for cameras or digital recorders. It was also considered once for networking, but never lifted off.
