Default Whats a Good Gaming Desktop thats Low Priced?

I want to buy a gaming desktop already built. But I'm on a budget. I need one that lets me upgrade the parts like the GPU in the future. I want your recommendations on buying one.

Someone said I'd do fine with an i5 and Nvidia 960 for now and upgrade to 970 later.

Please post links and prices. Thanks.

Post a budget.

Pre-builts aren't necessary, as you can order your parts from NCIX and for a 50 dollar fee they will build it for you and ship you the machine and boxes for warranty.

Hi PP Mguire.. Appreciate the reply. I'm really on a budget. I'd say $900. But the lower in price the better.

And if you don't mind, can you suggest a good but low-priced monitor with g-sync?

Already replied to the other thread, and tbh you don't want Gsync. Too costly and too buggy.
Take it from a previous Swift owner. I used it less than 6 months and got rid of it.

If you're dead set on pre-built, here you go.
ABS Vortex ALI023 Desktop PC Intel i5-4460 (3.20 GHz) 8 GB DDR3 1 TB HDD GTX 960 4 GB Windows 10 64-Bit - Newegg.com

Hi PP Mguire.. Thanks for a speedy and informative reply. Its not the best looking tower out there I admit.. lol.. but seems functionable.

But apart from my preferences, what would you recommend me if you were me given a $900 - $1000 budget?

You can build better than that **** tower for 900-1000. That's what I'd recommend.

Intel Core i5-6600K 6M Skylake Quad-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I56600K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530 - Newegg.com
GIGABYTE GA-Z170-HD3 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com
G.SKILL NT Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000) Intel Z170 Platform / Intel X99 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-2133C15D-16GNT - Newegg.com
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 DirectX 12 04G-P4-2976-KR 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support ACX 2.0 Video Card - Newegg.com
SeaSonic SSR-650RM 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - Newegg.com
Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Steel structure with molded ABS plastic accent pieces ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Newegg.com
SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 250GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E250B/AM - Newegg.com

$948

Course you need an OS and might want to tack on a 1TB drive as well.

TBH, I never built a desktop before (even tho I've repaired an old one years ago). Is this easy to build? Would all the parts be compatible?

I thought you had included a HD. Didn't know it wasnt included. Let not include an SSD. Remember, I'm on a budget bro

Wouldn't have linked if they weren't all compatible. I put an SSD in there, but mentioned you might want to tack on a 1TB drive because you might need more storage for a Steam library or whatever.

Building a computer is easier than putting a large Lego set together. Plenty of Youtube videos to help get you through it.

Thanks PP. I'll look into that.

Btw, is it possible to reduce the overall price further?
