Now that I am almost ready to order the parts for my i7 920 rig, I also need to get two 22" monitors. I want two since I will use my PC primarily for music recording, and for the sequencer software it is often necessary to have several windows open.

I have been looking at LG 22" W2234S-BN and Samsung 22" 2243NW.
They look very interesting in terms of price.

Would they be of good quality? If not, what would you recommend instead (within the same price range more or less).

Thanks !

Lars

I prefer LG.

LG very popular in korea

Samsung very popular in USA

Both are great quality.

Thanks, guys !

So, I can't go wrong with either, right?

Or did I choose a model too cheap on both brands?
Would that be (either) a good quality monitor, or do I have to spend mroe on it?

No need to double post. Just edit your previous.

It's not really wrong to buy the cheapest Samsung or LG, as both company's LCDs in general, are good quality.

Here's another 22" I would suggest from Samsung:
Newegg.com - SAMSUNG 2253BW Black 22" 2ms(GTG) DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor with HDCP Support 300 cd/m2 DC 8000:1 - LCD Monitors

LGs are a bit on the expensive side. But very good. You can't go wrong with either brand.

Thanks !

I just took a look, but the store I will buy my PC from does not have the one you suggested,
they only have these 22" Samsungs:
PC Megastore: de beste en goedkoopste online PC winkel van nederland

and these 22" LGs:

PC Megastore: de beste en goedkoopste online PC winkel van nederland

So, I was considering to get this LG:

PC Megastore: de beste en goedkoopste online PC winkel van nederland

Would that be a good choice?
Or should I choose another one from the ones they sell?

Oh....didn't know you were from outside the US. Anyway, you really can't go wrong with either. The LG looks to be good. Has nice specs that most 22" monitors have.
