What would you do with this bundle to increase preformance. I am building this unit but have about $300 to spare and have yet to choose a graphics card. All in all I really just want the computer to run smooth whether on the internet or playing games. Also it has to run Vista-

Suggestions?

not worth tho imo 4870x2 can already do wat 2 4870's can, wat if the next card does even more damage?
def. upgrade the ram, to gskill PI black 2x2gb ddr800. (isnt this a duplicate thread) otherwise leave ur pc its fine. also get a cooler like the xigmatek rifle 120mm and o/c that e8400 likes there no tomorrow, prob reach about 3.8ghz. and the ram will have no troubles gettin too 1066mhz on 5-5-5-15.

If I'm understanding this right and you don't have a video card pick up the HD4870. Then take the extra money and upgrade to OCZ Reaper Memory. If your going to OC then the cooler would be a good idea. Otherwise you don't need it.

he wants to increase performance so why not o/c, also i highly rec. u get this gskill ram over the ocz reapers, they have tighter timings and a lower voltage, excellent for o/cing

Well overclocking came be intimidating but you're right it is free performance, can't beat that.
