I have the HAF 922m case and noticed that there are really short wires on the 120mm case fans and then there are the regular power wires with them. They are only about an inch or two long and do not reach anywhere. What are they for? I was told to just ignore them and not worry about them.

molex to 3-pin power adapters. You don't need them if you're plugging the fans directly into the mobo or into a fan controller.
