What thermal paste? Can't get TX-2

What thermal paste should I be getting from now? I can't find TX-2 at any of the major sites.

I use Arctic Silver 5 myself, but I've also read that MX-4 is still a good one to use.

Arctic Cooling MX-2 is still a lot better than AS5 and should be pretty easy to find. Personally I refuse to use AS5 since it requires a burn in period before it will give you adequate results.

I use TX-2 on my desktop and laptops, but AS5 on the PS3 and everything else (since it's cheaper and I can get it at Radioshack if its not available online).

MX-2, NT-H1, MX-4. Didn't know you overclock? If you don't I can't see this choice making much of a difference for you just go for something cheap.

It's not for me, it's for a friend's new build (which I will OC). Would've just bought TX-2 but it doesn't exist any more.

And ofc I OC, I've OC'd all my systems.

i would avoid AS5 for the burn in period, and i believe it is electrically conductive and it would have to be replace periodically.

they have a newer tx-3 that ive used and have been happy with.
