I am checking my system specifications in CPU-Z when I stumble upon the SPD tab and wondering what the **** is the information included in the "Timings Table."

I can upgrade my vocubalary when it comes to computers when i learned what these are. So please help me, and thanks!

1. Frequency?
2. CAS# Latency
3. RAS# to CAS#?
4. RAS# Precharge?
5. Tras?
6. Trc?
7. Command Rate?

don't worry about it :p. it's not particularly useful information. the most important ones are

Frequency: the frequency the memory operates at e.g 200MHz which is DDR400

CAS: CAS is the most important of the latencies, it is how long it takes from a request for data until the time the data is output from the memory.

oh i see... i've seen threads regarding RAMs and i saw them saying 2-3-3-8, etc. That is the reason I ask this question, anyways... as you said, the frequency and CAS are the most important infos. thanks...

The rule of thumb to go by is, "the lower the latencies the better". But like nitestick said the main thing you should focus on is the frequency and the case latency.
