Exclamation what quad cpu should i get?

Can anyone give me a name of a quad core socket p cpu that i can get for around
£50 ($83 us dollars)? I'll prefer an intel core 2 quad/extreme.

That all depends if your laptop can handle a C2Q... and I doubt you could find one for that cheap, since not even decent desktop C2Q can be found for quite that cheap really, and mobile ones are usually more expensive than desktop counterparts.

Most likely an x9100. 3.0Ghz c2d. But ebay has them for bout $115 US

I got a toshiba tecra m9. My budget is £55, im only 12 years old so im not rich.

Yup, 800mhz fsb is your limiter.
