Default What motherboard would you get if you couldnt get a DFI board?

Im asking this because im trying to pick out a motherbuild for my first build but I dont want a DFI board. I just dont like the way the memory slots are above the processor.

Forgive me for saying this, but not buying a board because the DIMM slots are "above the CPU socket" is a pretty stupid reason if you were to ask me...furthermore, I believe they are put above the socket in order to make room for the number of MOSFETS they put on the board which are the reason for the stable voltage given by the Lanparty boards as well as the excessive 4v vdimm capabilities

MSI would be next though

Get a dfi ultra-d or sli-dr expert. or rxd200. there is nothing wrong with having the ram slots above the cpu, it's the best board.

Well now that I think about it I dont need SLI and dont want to spend a ton of money on a motherboard. So the ASUS premium board is no good and I should get the MSI NEO NF4?
