Default What LCD should I get?

I decided to hold off on my build till the Conroe comes out, but I'm still going to get a new monitor right now. What are some good 19+" LCD monitors for gaming? My budget's <$500. I've been looking at the Dell ultrasharps, are they any good?

Ok, I'm raising my limit to 650. Any more suggestions? Also, are widescreens good or bad for gaming?

LG L2000C. The next step up is the NEC 20WMGX2, if you can afford it.

Thanks, I'll check those out. Anyone have an opinion on widescreen monitors for gaming or just in general? And how big is too big? I've been looking at a 24" dell widescreen but I dunno if that's overkill..

I'm no expert on monitors but this has a fairly fast response rate and the contrast and brightness are pretty high. Plus 5 eggs!

4ms response time and pretty good picture quality. 19 inch.
