What hard drive to get for my Asus motherboard?

I have a P5GDC-V Deluxe LGA motherboard and I was wondering what kind of hard drive I should get with it. I was thinking of getting a WD 250 gb 7200rpm Sata 3.0 Hard drive. Would I be able to hook this up into my sata ports?

Depends if its a sata hard drive or an ide one. check it and if it is then its sounds fine. Dont really need an amazing one if u just want it to hold stuff.

yes you would be able to hook it up , your mobo dont have sata2 but thats fine cuz sata2 is backward compatbile and it does have sata1 , anyway theres a very little speed diffrence between sata 2 to 1
