What does AntiAliasing and Anisotrophic Do for you?

hehehe has anyone tried forcing AA and HDR on Far Cry?

it made the walls go seethrough in mine!!! (but i turned it off after my head started spinning...)

generally 1440x900 is high enough for me to play without AA - i'd rahter have 60fps and no AA than 8AA and 25FPS....

i turn it on when i can tho...but unfortunately i cant in Crysis (i run that at 1152x864 on"high" for everything - i dont have vista

personally, i'd rather have better texture settings and less AA than the otehr way round...

i always try to run x2 aa and max af, i dont really notice a performence hit with af on, but i do with aa, and i dotn see the diference between 2x and x4, but i do at x6 and x8 aa, but thats when you really take a hit on performence.
