I was thinking if I should buy a 320GB HD, or two 160GB HD's to configure them in RAID 0 so it could be faster. And, wich brand is better Maxtor, Seagate or Western Digital. Although Seagate and Maxtor are the same owners but is there any difference in their performance?

I have to add there the case

My budget is around $1,200, but if I need to I'll wait some more and get some more money. Also, I live in Puerto Rico so higher shipping applies. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

Don't post saying Newegg or ZipZoomFly are better, because Newegg charges an extremely high tax for Puerto Rico Purchases and ZipZoomFly doesn't ships to Puerto Rico.

I guess i'll get the better priced. If you now of any website just let me now. Thanks,

i have 2 seagate 160gig hard drives in RAID 0 and love it....use that for games and OS and stuff....and my 320 gig seagate for general storage.
