My first Build with a little advice from a friend.. any thoughts




ram - G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 (2x1GB) CAS3 Dual Channel Kit

MOBO - DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard

G.Card - Leadtek GeForce 7900 GTX 512MB GDDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express

H.Drive - Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 NCQ 160GB ST3160812AS SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM

CPU - AMD Opteron UP 165 Dual Core San Diego 1.8GHz 2MB Cache (Socket 939)

Screen - iiyama 17"

Case - Thermaltake VA7000SWA Shark Aluminium Full Tower

PSU - Hiper HPU-4K580-MK Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Black UV

OS - Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP2 OEM Single

Looks good, except I would not advise the modular power supply. Ive heard to many accounts of modular power supplies damaging core components.

This setup is great and also i would also like to compliment your fantastic and super intelligent friend who helped you pick out this setup. nice work.

Oh and to that guy saying modular PSUs damage core components.
I own the Hiper Type-R 580Watt modular and you're statement is wrong.

Plus these ppl dont have problems with it:

I would go with the OCZ PoweStream for a good PSU. or PC Cooling ones, they are very good.
