i would get some OCZ platinum revision 2 ram or some enhanced latency ram

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146890

or

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146883

EDIT: if your getting a 7800GTX, anything under 2.2Ghz is kind of a bottleneck so make sure if your OCing get above 2.2, or just buy a 3700+ or a 3500+

I don't think the ocz ram is worth the money in this case. His original setup should do fine. He might want to save and get the non-sli version for $135, but other than that. Its good. Saving the sli, he could probably get the gtx.

i think patriot will be a great OC'r reading the revies, and I wouldn't I want sli, so in the future I can get another 7800GT, (which performance almost as well as SLI'd GTXs)?
