What do you install on a new or reformatted computer?

After a fresh installation, for me its a case of Immidiate Activation and then all Windows Updates. Service Packs ect, ect.

But all ways:

CCleaner
Firefox
uTorrent
ConvertX
ImgBurn
Opera
Safari
f@h console client
MSE
HFM.NET
7 Zip
Defraggler
Handbreak
DVD Shrink
Open Office
Rename Us

Allways download the latest Ver. off all the applications, and Windows Updates. But Stick with uTorrent 2.2.1 for ease of use. :D .. ..

Drivers
Google Chrome
AVG Tune UP
WinRar
MSI Afterburner
Windows Updates
Razer Synapse
Java
Spotify

Mostly it.

This is what I install by default. Different computers being used for special purposes get more/different programs
  • Windows
  • Windows updates.
  • Drivers
  • Firefox
  • Adblock
  • Other Firefox addons
  • Intel Turbo Boost (If processor supports it)
  • Prime 95 (if processor is going to generate a considerable amount of heat)
  • Latest version of Java
  • MS Office or Open Office (whichever there is a license for)
  • AVG free
  • J-Zip
  • CCleaner
  • Spybot-Search and Destroy
  • utorrent
  • NovaBench
  • Defraggler
  • All CPU meter desktop gadget
  • VLC Media Player
  • Google Earth
  • Notepad ++
  • IMG Burn
  • Freemake Video and Audio converters
I think I named them all.
I don't always install all that crap at once on the same day, but I end up downloading all those programs eventually.

Chrome
K-lite Mega Pack
DVD Santa
WinRAR
IMGBurn
uTorrent (unless they dont plan on d/ling shared files etc.)
Peerblock (unless they dont plan on d/ling shared files etc.)
Kingsoft Office Suite
All windows updates
Malwarebytes (if user isnt smart enough to keep viruses out on their own)

I made an AIO i put my cd in it plays a song of my choice (Last dance with Mary Jane, "one more time to kill the pain" blabla) and it lists all my programs. The first one in the middle is Winrar so the rest of them can run. I also keep my emulators on that disc if customer/buddy wants them as well.

Oh and Winaso Registry Optimizer

I posted in this above but when starting the System I have found my self to be quite compulsive in the way I have too have my Browsers open, along with the Windows task manager, and another two too three Programs.. Maybe I'm lazy, but since I'm a fan of Multiple display setups I really enjoy the plethora of Multi Monitor Displays with everything open and ready.. Looks neet and cool..

I've started installing Bleach Bit on Unix \ Linux Systems. Its a pretty good program for cleaning the HDD of all the crap like Ccleaner but its for Linux and along with that I've also got a compulsion to install my DC software. I have to have it on every system over my SO\HO Network if thats what you want to call it or just a large network mabie.
