Well Heres my problem. My system started idling at 43 C after I installed a Radeon x1650 Pro. I have a BFG Tech 680i SLI Mobo, and a E6400 Core 2 duo. I have 2 80mm front case fans blowing air in, and one 80mm Antec exhaust fan on high, blowing air out.
I also installed this fan/heatsink for my CPU Newegg.com - ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler - Retail

So I also added a 70mm fan to the side of my case, hoping to make it cooler, it did the opposite! Now im idleing at 44 C and 45 C!!!

I think the new 70mm fan is sucking air from the CPU fan.

So should I make the air blow inward or outward for the side 70mm fan? Or just get rid of it?

thanks

Theres no Harm in trying it the other way.

The rule of thumb is to have an the same amount of Intake fans as you do exhuast fans.

Alright I will always remember that. And I did try it the other way, and it made it like 1 degree cooler. And the weird thing is that my temp is better without the fan at all! I idle at 43 C usually.

I think I made a bad case decision, apparently.

thanks
