Default what to do?

once i have the money i figure i'm going to upgrade my graphics since my card is haveing problems, sadly i'm stuck with AGP.

Heres the 2 cards i'm considering

I'm leaning towards the 7600, but the 6800 still has a good reputation but is aging, what do you guys/gals think?

I'd say the 7600GS.

What about a 7600GT? That would be better.

yeah, but i figure i might as well stay with AGP untill i build a new rig, since a small video card upgrade will keep me satisfyed untill then (since my games dont demand much from my system)

If your games don't demand much from a graphics card, go with the 6800. I've used that in a computer I built and it is more reliable.

yes, but if you look at it, the 7600 is roughly the same price and is newer, but i did hear somewhere the the AGP 7600 has problems with the new invidia drivers, not sure if thats true or not though

i'm not willing to spend $200 dollars on a video card that will be on an out dated platform, i prefer to spend as less as i can but get good performance
