Was it a 1GB 8500 GT? Cause I can't see how the 512MB 8500 GT could handle a resolution of 1600x1000.

i overclocked the living crap out of it. from 450 core all the way to 658core. and it was 256mb believe it or not. i think there was something wrong with that card it performed too good. it ram at like 75c max load too with the crappy stock cooler

you should as long as you don't throw in anti aliasing.... the 3800 series is TERRIBLE with anti aliasing
