Would it be the 3200, or what? I am talking about when playing games that only use a single core.

You can't really compare the two since one has two cores rather than one. They both perform in different ways.

well the 3800+ X2 would still out perform a 3200+ because even though the game is single threaded the other core is still working with Windows and any other background programs running. Although there won't be much of a performance increase.

You can't really compair but a 3800+ X2 is basically two 3200+ in a dual chip.

aint the X2 4400+ equiv to 2x3200+?

because 1 core = 2.2Ghz and 3200+ = 2.2Ghz? that prolly dont make sence.. but i thought it was/

beefcake has it. The 3200 is 2.0ghz with 512mb cache. When you get up into the 4400+, you start comparing the cores to the processors with the san diego core, like the 3700 and the 4000.
