I'm going to bed now, but I'd just like to check. Is this guide completely viable still. I mean, aren't the x58 mobo's somewhat different now than older mobos?

I mean, I sure most stuff is completely right, but are there any small tweaks I should know about.

Hopefully I can get that OS from my friend, or it is just going to be sitting there taunting me after I'm done.

I just built one 2 days ago and if anything the new MB are easier than oldier MB IMO. Everything pretty much has a place...can't really plug anything into the wrong slot or anything like that. Just remember to keep multiple sticks of ram in seperate channels and depending on the size of the case remember these new 200 series Video cards are ****ing massive! so id move your harddrive up or down in the front depending to give it some leg room....gets tight in there.

just be sure you have like 1 stick of ram in when trying to install you OS if its vista.

It's gonna be vista ultimate, but I don't have it yet. I'll probably have the whole thing constructed entirely before I get it.
