WEB hosting servers...

LINUX ehh? well i have never tryed it but i do do have a computer runnig with one, never really used it thoe...looks simple.

Thx anyways, maybe in a year or two i'll get a server...

For a server, Linux is not as simple as you think. It is not a pretty gui, you do stuff in a console.

Anyway, you do not need a web host near you. It can be a world away if there is not too much lag. Your best best would be to find a fast provider with good uptime.

Well, since you helped me out on this, i guess i'll go buy a domain, then finish creating my site, then i'll contact you and send you the site...

Like would you provide the thing for me? since you are a host...
I'll pay VIA PAYPAL monthly. I'll choose a plan after im done with the creation of the site. I don't garantee it thoe, but i do give a 75% chance of it. My dad will probobly want someone reliable...someone who has done it a lot...

Other then Dreamweaver what good web makeing programs are there?

Caz i'm in grade 10 and so far i only know how to make website's in FLASH, and dreamweaver, and they both stink...

Well, for WYSIWYG editors, Dreamweaver is the best imo. A good free one is Nvu.

If you want a good looking site, but you are not capable of doing it yourself, try looking at some free templates. This is not a route that I recommend, but if you are not good at designing and don't want to pay thousands for a design, its you best bet.

Try to alter the template so it does not look like you just threw in some text. Put some effort into the design. It is representing you dad's business after all.

He started the Canadian Acedemic Resurch Center (CARC) it's basically like a Imigration center, University, not to sure... it's some thing along those lines... he does way to much business, i can't keep track anymore...
